Do you ship worldwide?
Yes, we deliver worldwide! Whilst we understand shipping worldwide can be expensive in some parts, we make sure to provide the most affordable delivery possible to get your products to where they need to go in a timely manner that suits you.
Whilst we do try and offer the most affordable shipping, you may need to pay import duties and taxes if you order goods from outside the United Kingdom. These are not covered by ourselves unfortunately.
What is your policy on returns and replacements?
We don't accept returns, but we want you to be completely happy with your candle. If you find any issues with your order, like a broken item or something not meeting our usual standards, just send us a photo of the problem within 14 days of your order being shipped. We’ll make sure to send you a replacement at no extra cost. Or if you prefer, a full refund can also be offered for the faulty items.
Do you sell candles in bulk?
If you are interested in a bulk order, please contact us directly to discuss this.
Why does it take so long for my order to be sent out?
We work on a made-to-order basis. Being a small business, we cannot currently afford to premake scents and risk having stock that does not sell. Additionally, soy wax takes 2 weeks to cure for the oil to be fully combined with the wax.
Candle Safety
Are the candles and wax melts suitable for vegans?
Yes, all of our candles and wax melts at Grimnoir Atelier are made with soy wax, making them completely vegan-friendly. We ensure that our products are free from animal-derived ingredients, and all our fragrance oils are also cruelty-free and vegan. This means everyone can enjoy our products, no matter their dietary or ethical choices. If you have any concerns with certain fragrances you do not like/are allergic to, please do not hesitate to contact us.
How can I properly care for my candles and wax melts to ensure optimal performance?
To care for your candles, trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each use, allow the wax to melt to the edges of the container to prevent tunneling, and avoid burning for more than 4 hours at a time. Make sure to also keep burning candles away from furniture, drapes, bedding, carpets, books, paper, flammable decorations, etc, as well as out of reach of any children or pets where they can be knocked over.
As for waxmelts, always use melters that are specifically approved for wax melts. Never leave a burning wax warmer or burner unattended, and avoid burning it for more than 4 hours at a time. Ensure the wax warmer or burner is placed on a solid, stable, and flat surface, and keep it out of reach of children and pets. Overtime, waxmelts lose their fragrances depending on how many times it has been used. The best way I have found to change out waxmelts is to leave the melter on until the edges of the waxmelt have melted, making it easy to remove the entire melt with a thick kitchen napkin. You can get snuff out your tealight and gently clean the melter of any residue.
